Problem Statement / Need
Farmers faced multiple constraints: reliance on traditional seeds leading to low yields, limited market access with dependence on middlemen offering poor prices, small-scale plots (≤1 acre), pest infestations reducing productivity, and limited record-keeping practices hindering access to finance.
Intervention
Through the YEFFA Project, 360 Connects carried out field activities in 8 villages, focusing on youth and farmer mobilization, improved production practices, and stronger market linkages.
16 agronomy training sessions on improved practices and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
12 buyer–seller forums connecting farmers with regional/national buyers.
Profiling of youth-led SMEs, aggregators, processors, and input suppliers.
Training on record-keeping and access to finance.
